    Default Cleaning Boat Carpet???

Just curious on how everyone cleans their carpet. I have read where some use soap and others say never use soap. Is there a way to make the carpet piles stand back up?

I have always hated trying to clean boat carpet. Therefore my new boat does not have any.....It has a sprayed on rubberized non-skid coating. Its great....its easy to clean and its also cool in this hot weather.
I have spent most my life fishing........the rest I wasted.

I take mine to a car wash and use the hi-pressure hose to clean mine. Sometime I use soap and sometime I don't. Soap is hard to get all of it out.

I used to use a spray on carpet cleaner let it set a bit then take a good brush & scrub it. Then rinse with a high pressure hose. Usually gets pretty good results.

Maybe I'm in luck. It just started raining very hard and the cover is off the boat.
