    Default Lasik surgery


    Anybody had it and what did it set you back? Are you glad you did it?

    I'm trying out contacts again for the 3rd time. I just hate wearing glasses to see, but have never found contact I can wear. Trying out a different brand today and it's much better than the ones I got last week, but sure would like to ditch all this stuff if I could afford it.

    Work with two gals here that are sisters and both got Lasik on the same day and would do it over again. I think it was 2 years ago. Dunno about price. Neither needs any glasses now. Have a supply vendor that had it, too, and no longer wears glasses for anything.

    I had it 6 years ago and vision is still 20/15. You will need reading glasses after you turn 40 though. I did some electric work for a cornea surgeon. He made me a great deal on the procedure. In the top 3 best investments I ever made.

    Both of my daughter-in-laws have had it and they both swear by it. I think the last one that had it done paid about $1500.00 an eye. I have thought about it but that'a a lot of crankbaits.

    When you get it and you can actually see, you'll realize you ain;t half as purdy as you THINK you are. Might just scare yoself into a heart attack that first glimpse in the mirror Rofl
