gotta work on getting it fine tuned, this is free hand and I am trying to come up with me some kinda template that I can make to use that will let me have more color (larger area) around the eye. Thought I would share this with you and see ifn you might come up with something also Thumbs Up

Thanks Tman, just would like to be able to get a little more color around the eyes, that was one of the best ones I did out of 4. I saw that pattern somewhere, may have been some Scott did but it made me think that to have some of the same color to the front of the bait that is on the back of the bait might just work![]()
That looks really good Larry. That's the Rebel Crappie Crank-R, Tail Light. I wanted to make a copy as good as that but I figured the eyes would be too hard to do. Did you leave a round patch of white base coat when you painted the black? I just got lazy and painted my eyes with enamel on the black. Maybe you painted the whole bait pink and then freehanded the black. I don't know. Lol. I like it anyway.![]()

left a round white area and then went back and painted it with the pink, yep that rebel I believe is what I saw,
Larry, I've got a box of the Rebels and it looks like they copied one of the colors (orange back) from one you posted on here a couple of months ago, way before Rebel came out with their baits.
