blue, I personally use a 15# braid, spidercast ultra to be exact, the smaller diameter line you can use the deeper the bait will run

I use 20# hi vis yellow I got from China off of eBay. I get #6 red trebles from a guy in Canada off of eBay and replace all my hooks with them after I paint the cranks.

thanks everyone,on vacation in florida and brought some of my cranks with me and figured i would change some hooks out when i could, the reason being right before i left for vacation i pulled and pushed cranks and missed alot of fish and i figuered i would get a second opinion of a few things so i might have better success.i imagine some of the missed fish is because i have bought alot of cranks used,so thats why i checking all the hooks.with the powerpro 30 lb i running i seem to catch more fish if i run my drag real loose ,anyone else run their drag loose, thanks

I keep my drag loose enough to keep from breaking my rod if I hang up. One thing I like about the braid is that you can straighten your hook and get your crank back.
