Making public lands public access act!!!

I just received this email response from my PLEADING some months back...

Thank you for contacting me to express your support for increased access to public lands. I am glad to have the benefit of your views on this issue.

Senator Jon Tester (D-MT) introduced the Making Public Lands Public Access Act (S. 901) in the U.S. Senate on May 5, 2011. This bill would require funds from the Land and Water Conservation Fund to be allocated for priority projects that would be listed annually. It would also secure recreational public access to existing federal public lands for hunting, fishing, and other recreational purposes. Currently, the Senate Energy and Natural Resources Committee is considering this legislation.

Be assured I will keep your views in mind as Congress considers legislation affecting public access to federal lands. Please do not hesitate to contact me if I can ever assist you.
