    Default Dang Ford

T-Man is on his way over to fish Okatibbee with me and my dang truck won't crank. It's hooked to the boat in the boat shed so I'm screwed. It did the same thing yesterday and I had a wrecker on the way then it cranked right up. The ABS light stayed on for about 30 min after it cranked yesterday but before I got it to the mechanic, the light went off. He said if there's no lights on the computer is not giving a code for him to see which scencer is bad. Oh well.

If it is a gas burner get a can of carb cleaner spray it in the air filter housing and see if it cranks. If it does then you have a fuel issue, if it does not you have a fire issue.

Anytime the computer has a fault code it logs it in memory.

Yup. Time fir a new mechanic. What year is it? Might be a coil instead of plugs. Feelay had the same problem although his was more gradual over time. I think he said the coils were only 2....maybe 3 bucks each. Hehehehe.

Sorry to hear that Scott. Seems I remember that diesel wasn't acting right when I was over there.

Update, I think weak batteries was my problem. Put the charger on for 30 min and she cranked right up.
