    Default 2 fish and a goat !!!!! what a morning :)

well didnt do to well on the crankin but did catch 2, one was a green carp and didnt take a picture of it but did take a picture of my one crappie and the bait that it fell prey to started out with catchin the one crappie with in 30 mins of when I got there and so I continued to troll around the island (went to Goat Island) and went from 13 fow to 22 fow as I got to the south end of the island and decide to turnaround and go back the way I just came. made my way to the end of the island and could hear this what sounded like a baby goat hollerin for its momma and I really didnt pay any attention to it and went on back to the north end of the island on the east side, no luck so I went across the lake trolling and worked up the east bank rock wall in water depths that varied work down past the island and turned and came back across just south of the end of the island and I still hear this baby goat raising cain, I looked and couldnt see anything and I thought it must be just lost as there was a bass fisherman that just worked down that bank and if it had been anything he would have done something Im sure. WRONG !!!!! So I decided to pull my rods in and make my way to the sound and see what was goin on, now I still havent spotted the goat in distress at this time. I move closer and I spot this little goat on the side of a steep bank and he is apparently scared to move and is callin momma. Well as I get closer momma starts to answer back and I see here (she is the white one) stand up and start easing my way. I get closer and I am tryin to decide what I can do, the bank looks like it drops of in the deep water and I wasnt sure what I was gonna do but as I got closer I see that the water is not that deep after all I pull my trolling motor up and wade up to the bank with boat in tow and tie my boat off. I have never tried to catch a goat before and had no idea what I was in for I ease up toward the baby and it moved a little bit but the settled down, I was able to reach up on the ledge and get it by the belly and head and I set it over in the front of my boat as the water was still to deep for it, I pushed the front of my boat over to the bank and the little feller jumped off on the bank and ran up the bank to momma, who had made her way down there by now, gotta him a drink or two and was good to go :D I turned and went back to untie my boat and just happen to look up on the bank just above me and there were 3 more goats (full grown and 2 of them had horns) looking down at me. So I gracefully untied my boat and got the heck outta there :D then they all came down to the bank and went back to lookin for food. So didnt catch no fish to amount to much but sure had a great time getting that little feller back to his momma

Neat story, looks like a good day even without a bunch of fish. Great pics.
