I pull 3 and push 1 off each side. On the push pole, I have a snap on the end of the line for the crankbait. Up the line 3 ft I tie a loop knot in my line. I use a 3 oz bank sinker with a 1 ft leader I snap onto the loop knot. That way I can remove the weight when I put the pole up.

"G" you must have been posting the same time I was. Lol Now I've got 14's, 11's, and 8.5 footers I pull with off the sides. I push with 12 footers. It looks like the next time I go is when crankbait season starts. I couldn't find anything but dinks in my jiggin spots yesterday.

Question-- Do y'all think pushing with a 14' pro staff would work or is the 14' too long ?
-
14' is a good thing when you're pushing. Further away from the boat/motor.
