Default Bird's Point New Madrid Floodway

They plan to blow the northern section of it between 9:00pm and midnight tonight...... I sure hope it serves its intended purpose and provides relief. Praying for all the workers and everyone else involved.

Haha... I been around.. Just quiet. I had to work in Meridian pretty much all last week and about half the week before that. It is real hard to post from my cell phone. I am back in the office now and ready to post..

I'll be a papa again in September... Won't be long...

According to sources, the blown levee MAY, no promises, help save most of Cairo, IL., but will ABSOLUTELY decimate 130,000 ACRES (+/-) of prime farm land with sand and silt, and several farm houses and buildings. Guys, this is a loose-loose issue. Hate to be the one making this decision. Prayers for all concerned.
