I try to keep up with how many watts I am using.....A coffee pot or a clothes iron will use about 1500 wats each....light bulbs....read on them.....So thats how I manage mine....I have a 4500 watt generator so I try not to exceed that at one time. Example....10 100 watt light bulds....yep gonna use a 1000 amps.
Hmmm....all this may be acedemic. I have the camper 220 line, but sitting here thinking about it, I'll bet both ends are the 3 prong like a dryer plug and the generator 220 plug is a 3 prong twist lock. Can't remember at the moment what ends are on the camper cord.

I sure hate BigBlue ain't here. His one chance in like 3 years to be useful and he misses it. That's bad luck right there, I don't care who you are.

6500 watt generatore / 220 volts = 29.54 amps Just to be double safe pull the meter and put a note on it telling Entergy what you have done. If it has a lock on it that you can't remove, put a note on it anyway and turn off the main breaker either way. Go ahead and run what you want, the thirty amp dryer breaker is sized right for your generator and will trip if you overload it, which I don't think you can. Electrician in former life and HVAC mechanic.
When I said run what you want, I mean within reason. Lights, receptacles, fridge, freezer, etc.
Sweet. I've been saying for weeks you're a genius ATM and funny lookin' too. I meant 'em both...one more than the other, but I'll leave it to you to decide which.

Meter has one of those cable/plastic tags on it, but it can be cut with side cutters so I'll be sure to pull it and kill the main just to be doulbe sure, as well as label the meter "Backfeed in progress". Also will explain to Is what's going on.....all this assuming my 220 cord is capable of being hooked up. Suppose I could run to the electricty store and pick up an end and splice it on though.
