Only thing I'm not sure about is the tall console. I told him I wanted a short CC that I can sit down and drive and see over it. He said he made that one 8 inches shorter than normal and he thought I should be able to see over it sitting down. We'll see, it aint no biggie! I gotta say them are some good ole boys over there in Monticello! Man, they do good work!!!!!

Dang...wished I'da known that!! But, you do have to be a Tohatsu Authorized dealer to install it or the warranty will be voided.

Its a 1660 flat bottom with the pointed nose. Have you had any experience with the pods on the rear? Supposed to help you plane instantly in shallow water. Keeps the back of the boat from squatting when taking off.

I wondered what those things on the back were, look like steps to me.

Console does look a little tall for sitting on a seat dropped in the middle base. I'm curious to know what it measures from the bottom of the steering wheel to the floor? I got a base put in between console and back deck in order to put a pedestal seat for driving. I'm thinking ~32" from the floor would be a good wheel height for standing or sitting.
