I started writing this thread yesterday but never finished it.

Tomorrow, Saturday the 16th at 3:00pm, a Fallen Marine will be laided to rest tomorrow. His funeral service will be held at Pine Lake Baptist Church and his burial will be at Brandon Cemetary. SSgt. Jason Rogers and his family needs your help and support tomorrow. I am asking ALL crappie.com folks that will and can, please bring your American Flags and help line HWY 471 to HWY 80 and on to the cemetary. These folks need your support. I WILL BE THERE!! What about you?

I witnessed the most up-lifting event yesterday that I have ever seen. I left work and went to HWY 80 to show my support for Jason and his family. I could not hold back the tears as I looked for a good parking place. There were folks on both sides of 80 with flags flying. When the Honor Procession rounded the corner at Airport Rd. and 80, I lost it. That don't happen to me very often. The procession was led by 150 Patriot Guard Riders, followed by 50 law motorcycles and then 30 law cars. I went to the funeral home and saw the Honor Guard handle Jason's casket, again, I lost it.

One other thing, a church from Kansas is planning a protest tomorrow. We need to out number these folks by thousands.

If anybody can make it, give me a call at 601-209-4274 and I will try to meet up with you. Come on Vets.

We had a fallen soldier laid to rest in Jackson, MO about 3 years ago. The Kansas church sent some people. The Patriot Guard set up in front of them and completely blocked them out. We lined the entire route with people holding American Flags. It was an amazing turn out. The protesters got so frustrated, they packed up and left.

Thanks Spec. That's exactly what we need to do tomorrow. Supertalk 97.3 will have the Patriot Guard Commander on the air after lunch. It just chaps my redneck arse to no end to know that these people can do this.. They are protesting the exact thing that Jason died for..... FREEDOM!

From what I think I know, this "church" is basically one family and a few extended family members who are just ate up with hate. Have the law enforcement folks there ask to see their "permit to assemble", you need one of those in most places where you asemble in mass to protest, etc.. If they don't have one, offer to help remove them.

They, I guess, have the Second Amendment right to do that, but it's like the right to burn the flag. You can do it, but you gotta get thru me first. That's call my right of free expression........kickin your ass. You done got me fired up, and that ain't good on a 63 year old what thinks he's still 35 on these occasions.
