Maybe the truck license is out of date?
I am pretty sure its in the transducer........
or it a bad trolling motor.........
or the 175 has gone bad......
or the HB side imager need replaced..........
it could be the 14 ft. spider rigging poles......
ahh....heck with it. I would just sell me that ole janky boat and I will worry about the problem! I am sure the problem will ease up when it has been cleaned of all Poo!
MM....shouldn't you be prefishing and verifying the background check on your partner about now? Them FBI checks take longer than you think, so you need to get on the stick.
Wannabe...
He shoulda done that last week before he fished with you!
WB, I'll try to ansewer your question with out comments on your ability to repair wiring, buying janky parts and forgeting to get a license. Checking wiring for shorts. make up a couple of jumpers with gator clips that will fit in your plug or connect to male ends.find you a self reseting circuit breaker about 10 amp install IN HOTSIDE. hook these to a battery and start checking your wiring you can also install a marker lite between clip you are hooking to wiring and breaker so you can watch it while wiggling wires.
WB I fool with trucks, trailors and aall sort of lights. Like g said iwon't use those stupid connectors and don't like butt connectors. I always soilder and use heat srink. The short, check the wire going into the light socket they are bad to get necked right where it goes through the housing.
Fix you some jumpers to go from the trailer socket to the clips on a battery charger. Hook it up and where it smokes will be your short. No charge for the advice. :D I actually used to work with a guy that used that method. It, for sure, will find it or make one. Rofl
WB it sounds like you have a short, it could be the insulation rubbed off a wire.
Like some suggested it could be the water doing it.
I would hook it up in the driveway and turn the parking lights on for a while and see if it blows the fuse, if so then you know it's on the parking light wire, and then turn them off and hold the brake on and see if it blows the fuse then.
I got to buy some new lights for one of mine and I would like to have the LED like Sat suggested, they are high, but probably worth it.
I think the short is between the seat and steering wheel but also like talltimbers post........
