Everyone please post a picture of your license. I really wanna do this for a couple of important reasons.

1) We wouldn't want any gewber on this board to go fish some important tournament without a valid license!

2) Some folks on this board might just learn better by seeing pictures!

Here's mine:

Now, I'm gonna run over a few simple, yet sometimes overlooked, points of a valid fishing license.

Notice the large numbers on the right hand side, those are the month and year you purchased it. When it gets close to that month the next year you might wanna think about renewing it.

Now, notice near the fold where it has some dates printed. The first date is the day you actually bought your license and the second date is the day it expires. This one really gets by some folks so I'm gonna ask you pay special attention to it. Hint: if it is past that second date on the calendar yo license aint valid no mo! I'll cover how to use a calendar in my next infopost!

Across the top it has Mississippi Department of Wildlife. This part tells ya if you can use it in the state you are fishing in. For example, this license would not be valid if you wanted to fish in, let's say, Michigan. This one is only good for Mississippi!

Additionally, please see the lower right corner where it says $8.00. That is the low low cost of having one of these valid Mississippi license. Would hate to think one of you gewbers might be out a lot of money over 8 bucks!

Also, want you to know that it does not come with the white paper on it. It will actually have your name and customer number in those areas. People sometimes get confused on this part as well, so I just wanted to clarify.

Lastly, if any gewber here were to ever fish, let's say an important tournament, without one of these valid licenses they should have to post a pic of their license on the board every night before they go fishing. That way we could verify to the gewber that his license was valid before they hit the lake.

If any gewber should have a question regarding the validity of their license, please feel free to ask. Remember there are no stewpit questions, just stewpit people that ask them!!!
