I dont have access to a camera, but mine's valid! Got the lifetime sportsman's license. Got it for my eighth birthday, my parents paid just over $300 for it then, its getting close to having paid for itself already.

Only license I need to get is my Salt water one. Since we had the oil spill last year, I didn't renew it. Got to get another one before I hit the coast for some inshore feshing. I'm itching to get down on some redfish and SPECKS lol Them Specks hit hard and pull good. Course you have to use a special bait for them. Usually a Hot Blonde or redhead will get SPECK to bite ever time LOL

Here's mine. Got it before my 16th bday. Cost $200 at the time. Has definately paid for itself. One thing I do not have to worry about in MS. I am always legal to hunt and fish, minus ducks and saltwater fish, but I dont do that stuff anyway.
Hang in there and one day you too can get one of these. They are not required, only a valid drivers license, but we need to do all we can to support the MDWFP. It's either this way, or the other way..

Here I go thanking again, but it might help some gewbs out to have a series of these infopost, such as;
How to make sure yer boat has gas in it.
How to measure fish to make sure ya won't get a ticket from Mr Greenjeans.
How to make sure yo boat plug is in.
And, if ya saw the video from the main board, how to tell a drum from an edible fish.
Feel free to post other possible helpful topics.
Might even have to sticky so all gewbs would be sure to see it!:)
I like it : Newbs and Gewbs Master Check List , also this one can go on the regular checklist, If you are fishing with a known gewb, check his license before engageing in said activity.
Where where you last Thursday, I ask?
