Baseball fans, How bout them Braves?

Braves win opener. Jason Heyward went yard in his first at bat this year just like he did last year in his first at bat. Chipper Jones swung the bat good today also with 2 base hits. Go Braves!!!!!!!!!!!

had to work, but kept up with it on the computer. Hopefully they can put together a good first half of the season, AND a good second half. I really hate they dealt Matt Diaz and Omar Infante, 2 of my favorites, always hustleing. Glad Melky is gone though.

How in the world can anybody pull for the Braves? Do y'all remember who Ted Turner's girlfriend or wife was? Who owns the Braves? The Cardinals have always been the #1 team in south until TT bought them and put them on the TV.

Deb, if I tried to align my political views with every owner or player then I wouldn't be able to root for anybody so I'll just forget about Ted and Jane and all those other Hollywood libs and focus on the game itself. I have been a Braves fan since I was a kid in the early 80's and it brings back good childhood memories to see that uniform on the field as I am sure the redbirds do for you. Go Braves!!!

ted sold the braves several years ago. My son and I started watching back in the early 80's when he started little league and even though I have nothing for jane or ted Ive enjoyed many tbs braves games. I was formally a cardinals radio fan but tbs changed me because I could watch so many games. My son is married and in N.C. and we meet a couple times a year in atlanta for a game. GO BRAVES!
