Default Ground to Cloud Electrical storm

I got caught out yesterday in an electrical storm that had me freaked out. It blew up so fast that I couldnt get out fast enough. The rods were sparking almost half an nich to my fingers and the rain drops were arking on the boat. Not to mention the hail we ran thru on the way back to the ramp. Like bees I tell you!!! Scarry stuff, my fingers hurt till ten last nite from having the crap shocked out of them.
    Stick yo jig in there!

Dadgum. That ain't no place to be.....especially considering how frizzy your hair naturally is.

Glad you made it back OK.

Several years ago my wife and her brother-in-law were trolling on Sardis.A spring storm was approaching and they stayed a little too long because they were catching fish. They claimed the static electricity got so bad that line would stay arced in the air when they threw back out. They decided it was time to leave and got back to the ramp safely. My wife said that they were unsure about telling the story because it was so unbelievable.

Bigger I had they same thing a few years back. We started getting everything ready to go and I looked at my buddies hair and it was standing up. Grabbed a pole and slide it back to start winding it up and started tingling. When the rod guides got close to the aluminum on the boat they would arc. Scary stuff!
