    Default I'm having severe withdrawals!!!!!

Dont know how many more pictures of crappie I can see until my boat is done!!!! Cant hardly wade at Sardis the bottom is so soft and muddy.

I wasnt gonna tell anybody but, this past Wednesday I went to Sardis and tried to find a place to wade. Well, I got off 4 wheeler and seen I really wanted to be on the othe side of this little bitty ditch with about 4 inches of water in it. Soon as I stepped in it I went plumb to my chest in mud and couldnt feel the bottom!!!!! Instinctively I threw out my arms to push out and they sunk up too. I almost panicked!! I couldnt move and water was coming in my waders fast! I remembered a tip from some TV show about using your knees to crawl out of quicksand and mud instead of your feet. Well I wallowed around flailing like an idioit and was sinking deeper til I started using my knees and it worked. I finally got ahold of firm ground and sat there exhausted thanking the Good Lord I made it out!!

Point is if you are wading at any of the COE lakes this year please take a long stick to use as leaverage to help you pull your self out of these mudholes! Also, test the ground before you step off in it!

I'm bout to spooked to try wading anymore now!!!:D Fixin to call ole Doug at F&F and speed him up!!!Thumbs Up

Yep...you got that right....I've never understood why folks say us spawn fishermen are lazy either. I'm telling you wading for 8 hours in mud trying to catch a stinkin crappie aint lazy! I'm still sore from that trip Wednesday!
