I know a feller who really likes to single pole, BUT.......

got smacked around a little today. Course Theys always the excuse of fishin in the back of the boat, being hung out in the middle of the lake or their hair was blowin in their eyes. And all of them are very good excuses, cept fer one thang. We were in a stump field and standin timber so thick it Didn't matter ifn you was sittin on the big motor or a straddle the trollin motor, you could fesh a stump that ain't been feshed in two years.
All in all we had a good time. Ole Miss is a good feller and he only mooches one hunney bun and one bottle of water off me. He even brought his own minners. The fesh didn't bite very well. We has 5 keepers and several throw backs. Oh yea, he did manage to ketch one. whew.
It would have been a total beat down has he not caught that one on the last few minutes we feshed.

Man!!!!! What a day!!! I enjoyed the fire out of it!!!!!Thumbs Up Caught one stinkin crappie!!!Doh Beggars cant be choosers!!! Me being out a boat ,I just glad ole Minner felt sorry for me and let me fish with him!! I aint got any excuses!!!! I fished just as many stumps as he did and he kicked my tail today!!!! Maybe next time I'll wont stick with a lure they aint liking for so long....its hard to fish with something you aint got confidence in though.

He also showed me all about spider riggin!! Didnt catch any that way today though. I also tried a jig and cork....but, today single poling seemed to do a little better. Cant believe they didnt bite better than they did!! Water temp was 62-63 degrees,shuda been smokin!!

As far as mooching a honey bun and a bottle of water from him...heck, i thought we were gonna tear em up so I didnt bring anything to eat or drink because I was gonna feed the ole boy a sho nuff lunch when we got our limit about 12:00!!:D Didnt happen that way though!! Dont worry Minner, I'll get you a fine buffay one day!
