Well ifn' ya'll would have taken your mother to the hospital .........
for a procedure......... and when you are allowed back in recovery you find:
1. Her with a big fat upper lip on her left side
2. Container with one "real" tooth that somehow just FELL out during the procedure while she was under anesthesia and quietly sleeping.
3. Her with blood running out from beneath the bandage protecting the large skin tear on her left arm.
What would you do?
Excuses from hospital:
1. We put in a mouth guard - reason for huge lip
2. We don't know what happened - reason for tooth that "fell out"
3. Her blood pressure cuff tubing must have gotten twisted up with her skin when we rolled her over.
She has four of these exact same procedures in the last 30 days with no lip/tooth/arm problems. She is 87 but the skin on her arm is not loose and saggy to get twisted up with the cuff.
I think they almost dropped her or dropped her and got a little too rough with the tube they stuck down her throat during the procedure to remove the stones!
