There is a guy on the Electronics forum selling SD cards with gps waypoints of all the MS. lakes. Does anyone know him? Im planning on coming down in April And I dont have a South chip This would be a lot cheaper than a Navionics. 50.00 for Grenada. What do you guys think.

Yep, that's Mr. Hotspot or Thecrappiehotspot.com.
Keep in mind Wilbur, I think that is just the structure waypoints. Don't think it's going to show contour lines and such, so you may still need the South Card if you want that as well. Give Ricky a holler.

Wilbur, what's he's done is GPS's structure such as stake beds and stumps that would provide good fishing. On the Navionics, you don't necessarily have to spend $200. That price would be for the Hot Spots Platinum. Under that there is Hot Spots Premium and then regular Hot Spots. The regular Hot Spots is very good and priced around $100 usually. You will need to check Navionics and make sure the regular Hot Spots will work in your unit though.

Wilbur, the first card I bought was the HotMaps Premium. When I was ready for a second one I compared it with the HotMaps, bought it and saved $50.00, even has more lakes than premium.

Since they haven't updated the Navionics maps in a couple years, you can find a 2008 or 2009 premium version for about 1/2 price. I paid 100 bucks for the 2008 version on Ebay

I would gladly pay double for the Navionics chips, having those maps are an awesome tool. The hotspots way point card is very reasonable as well.
