Just got word from the kennel that my chesapeake bay puppy should be born around May 7th or 9th. Seven weeks later it's a road trip to Berryville, Arkansas. Lot's of things to do before arrival.

Best dogs ever. I had Labs all my life now I have a 3 year old CBR. Very calm, did not eat the house and everything in it. I had mine flown in from Montana. Very good with kids even my 18 month old grandson that loves to hang on him all the time. I can take him anywhere and he is friendly to people. Anybody he has ever seen can come in the house. But don't come in if he doesn't know you or it's on. They are very much not Labs. If you have ever trained a Lab forget using the same methods. You have to convince a CBR to do what you say not make them. And no matter what always be the alpha male never let them have the upper hand. My wife says your dog want do what I say. I snap my fingers or blow a whistle, perfect dog. Enjoy you will never have another breed. Post pictures I love to see CBR's.
