Default Trolling motor battery question for you guys

I just bought a new battery last year for my trolling motor, but I am wanting to get a longer lasting one. the one I have now is a Walmart one. I have read and I see mention of AGM and then 27's, 31's and optima. My question is this, my trolling motor is the PDV2 with iPilot 12volt. What would be a good battery for my case ? I have a separate battery for cranking the motor, so this will be solely for the trolling motor and another thing is being able to find a good battery up here in the sticks

    thanks

Group 31 is the way to go if you have enough room for that size. Best thing would be two group 31's if you going to be pulling cranks a lot. Wire them in paralell for 12 volts.

Go to your local NAPA store and get two Deep Cycle group 31's....NAPA batteries are good, Delco's are good ones also.
