Not sure about all that. I have 2 pieces of rope on mine. One is the release to drop it down and the other is attached to the end of the plate so I can just reach down and pull it up without leaning all over the motor. Works good but I get alot of questions about WHATS THAT HANGING DOWN lol Least it ain;t Duct tape hehe

You can pull cranks with your PD if its big enough and you got a couple of good batteries. We pull at 1.6 to 2.2 mph

Yea you will fowl out a lot of plugs idling all day that's why I got my terrova.
