    Default My Washington Story

Even though I made the trip down by myself, I had a really good time. Special thanks to Crappiehollic and wife for having me over and feeding me like a king. Ole Morris had a house right on the lake where I got to meet him and Oleblue and Rednek for the 1st time. Also got to hang with Maj, DD and Nessa again. Yall made me feel right at home and I really enjoyed it.

So I started my morning out fishing shallow back in the trees in around 3 ft of water. Caught my 1st three single pole'n fish of the year! (Notice the ducks. They were everywhere)

The trees weren't producing enough so I trolled out from them in around 5' of water and dropped out the spider riggin gear. Here's a pic of WB waxin DD. And a pic of the Maj waxing us all..

Did anybody mention bad weather? The mother of all fronts. I'll admit, this is the 1st time I had EVER not run my *ss of at such a site.

I had 9 keepers at 8:45 when the weather hit. They really were biting pretty good, but I wasn't catching any winner fish tho. After the front hit, I hauled it out to deeper water. I picked up 4 more in 15' water, catching them 12' deep.

Here's my catch. Enjoyed it everybody and can't wait to do it again!

Man, I'm glad you got some pics of that front coming through. We were facing away from it and didn't see it til Sat and Torch said to turn around. It looked like it was ready to drop a Tornado at any moment. Was great seeing you again bud

Anybody notice that front rolled in from the East? Freaky. I was fishing E to W and turned around about the time it was 10 minutes out. Noticed it and thought - good, it went around the lake....it wasn't until a little bit later I noticed it was moving towards us.
