Default I found THE batteries I want.....

I don't know how familiar yall are on batteries. I have been doing some research on them last week and this week.. Well I found THE battery place of all battery places in my opinion. There is a place in town that sells Trojan batteries. I thought the Trojan batteries would be around $200 apiece so I just wrote them off cause they were too expensive.. I called the place today and they are having a sale on Trojan batteries. They are selling the Trojan SCS225 for $132 and the SCS200 for $122. If you don't know the specs on these batteries the SCS225 has a 225 reserve capacity at 25 amp and the SCS200 has 200. The 225 is the highest RC of any battery I have found in that size. The Exides are 205, the AC Delco are 210, Interstate 29 are 210... I know it aint much more juice but the Trojans are suppose to be the best of the best... Just wanted to pass along the information in case anybody else is looking...

Oh yeah.. They also sale T-1275 batteries. They are about the size of a 31 group but taller. They have a reserve capacity of 280. I brought two of them home today for a great price. My Interstates are 27s with a RC of 160. I ought to be able to fish ALL DAY LONG with the two T-1275s.

What'd you give for the T-1275s? Them there are as good as batteries get in my opinion.

Well... He told me $180 for the T-1275s but they are regularly $207 each. He also had two bimished T1275s. The bimished ones had a 90 day warranty and were $85 each. I might regret it but I took the two bimished ones. He load tested them before he sold them to me and they checked out fine. If they don't work out in 90 days he said I could trade them back on some new ones or another Trojan battery. So I am going to run the crap out of them a couple times and test them real good at home with my multimeter and specific gravity tester...

I'm feeling sick at my stomach.......I think I better go lie down.

Is this a one time sale or do they run 'em every Spring? Crapola, now I know how DD felt about 2PM 2 weeks ago this Saturday. Bummed.

Well the new T-1275s were not on sale at $180... but he did tell me that he should have quoted me $207 on them so who knows what he will tell the next guy. The SCS225 and SCS200s were the ones on sale. He didn't say how long it would last but mentioned they will probably go off sale once things warm up. Btw, they didn't have and SCS225 in stock but had plenty of T-1275s and SCS200s.

Of course I got the last two bimished T-1275s but he said they will get a palet of them every now and then but they sale super fast. They get plenty of 6 volt bimished. They are the master distributor for MS so they had a warehouse full of Trojan batteries... They can get you anything you want.
