    Default Black Crappie yesterday 3-2-11

Went to Eagle yesterday and absolutely wore the specks out. We started out jig fishing and caught a good many. Once the sun got up good we switched to a slip cork/minnow rig and targeted the shady spots. It was a GREAT day on the lake! We ended up with 50 fish. Here is a picture of the best 15 we used trying to see our best seven. We had 14.5 lbs with our seven best!

Zack, you'll be able to fish the bluff and the Bay side of the causeway if you're on the main lake, that's about it. Now if you head up river, sure you can find a few spots halfway out of the wind. 15 MPH winds with 25 MPH gusts and that wind will find a way to get wherever you are though

I will be totally fine with fishing the bluff and the bay... I just hope I can get out there to fish. Maybe the rain will hold off.. I can always find somewhere to partially hide from the wind.....

Never mind that, I need GPS coordinates on Washington. Hurry up! Preferably ones where I can catch 7 2.5 lb fish and giggle at the folks bobbing up and down in white caps while sitting on water smooth as a coffee table.

A lot like the old Wannabe... except with fewer bad words. And Karate chop action. But, yes, still purtier than you.
