Bass Pro's "Bone Dry" Raingear Official Field Test

Knowing we'd be getting wet this weekend, I had to buy some new raingear. I made an impulse buy and picked up Bass Pro's "Bone Dry". The Pro qualifiers were out of my price range so the Bone Dry seemed like a reasonable comprimise at $240 with tax. Seen below.

These come un-insulated so I had to bundle up under them. Although I never got wet or cold, my hands being exposed left me feeling as if I were both. After talking to Maj about his pro qualifiers I realized that he had pockets out the yin yang, whereas my gear was lacking.

Also after bragging to everyone that I was extremely dry, when I stripped down to crawl into my vehicle, I realized that my boo-tay was damp. Now I don't know exactly where the water came through, and it wasn't a lot, but never the less, my butt was wet. Second thought, I might of just peed myself a little when I saw the Major's fish.

Overall Bone Dry Scoreboard:

-1 for lack of pockets
-2 for wet boo-tay crackage
- another 1 for being overpriced to have still gotten wet boo-tay crackage

= 6 of 10

Although they will do, I personally would not make this purchase again.
