dd, i bought a 2x, 3x, and 4x drift sock from cabela's this week, and i have not used them yet. in the instructions, it said the longer the lead rope is, the slower your drift will be. try lengthening your lead rope, it may help.

DD seriously you should consider exchanging the 36" for at least a pair of 54's. The little 36's are fine for fine tuning your speed when pullin cranks with your big mota but you have too much boat to slow it down to an effective slow trolling speed for the little fellas.
Yikess he has 4' of sides sticking out of the water and a big green cup.. No windsock gonna slow him down..
