What you guys think of using a SI FF on the trolling motor ??

DI is the way to go on the front. You can add SI later and link the two with the new ethernet cable and software update from HB. No more interlink and limited sharing of waypoints.

Thanks Hotspot, I have a 898si on the back, and just waiting on the 788 to become available for purchase from the site I have found it the cheapest and yes I hope HB hurrys up and gets the s/w for the ethernet cable so I can interlink them.

SI is defenitely a waste aof technology on the front of the boat. We had a 898 on the front of the Ranger and didnt get the benefit of it. So I talked Vic into moving it to the back and buying a new 958 for the front. Much beter now.
