Maj - Academy Sports on County Line Road sells drift socks. I am not sure how big they are. I got two of them. I think they are like 12 bucks each.

Thanks cray, think I will order a couple.
Good deal.. The ones from academy don't come with line, float, or hook... So those will probably be better...
yikess, or anyone, what size sock do yall think will be good for 20 ft. fiberglass boat?
I don't think you can get away with just one size. I would have several from 18" up to 54." This would allow you to dial in your speed to within .1 mph no matter what direction the wind was coming from. The sale at Cabela's is hard to beat. I like the nylon material they use on theirs because they dry quickly and won't mold in the boat.

I got a silly question, when it says 24'' or 54''does that mean the openining width or the length of the sock?
Not a silly question. I measured my Cabela's 2x and it's almost a perfect triangle at 48".
