I got a tip fer y'all

Well it's actually 2 tips. The first tip leads into the need fer the second tip.
1) ifn you make you a PVC stake driver or borrow yo brothers, fill the first handle section with foam. They will sink.
B) Ifn you decide that you can go down in 9' muddy water where you just drove about 39 stakes to get it, make sure you have decent means of gettin back in the boat. (By the way, them stakes that are about 6 inches longer than your leg, will attempt to castrate you on the way down and in turn, will not allow you to get close enuff to retrieve said sunken driver)
I just thought gettin back in the boat would be a piece of cake. It has made me decide to install some sort of emergency ladder. I couldn't imagine tryin to get back in under the circumstances of being thrown overboard or fallin into cold water over my head. After multiple attempts of tryin to go over the side, I decided to swim around to the back and crawl up the motor, which was still a chore.

Thinkin of installing a rope ladder jus in front of my console. It'll be out of the way there and I can reach it ifn in the water. Some of y'all out of shape gewbers ought to try to get back in the boat while the waters warm and see what y'all think. Don't try this alone tho. You may jus be surprized.

Ughh. Been there with gators present. Stump bound And a fishing buddy telling me to swim to other side in that I might break his expensive bass rods.

Minner I keep one of the rope ladders that hook on to your cleats. Never had to use cause I'm still young, skinny, and agile enough to get back in the boat. I aminly have it so if'n I gots a geezer or a pleasently plump fella in the boat with me I can get them in.

I can get in climbing up the motor, but I generally like to stay in the boat. I get out and wade in the spring and can get in from the side with waders on, if my feet are touching bottom. In deep water, fageddaboutit!

Minner, look at the ladders on the BassCat web site. I have the $215.00? one on the back of my boat. Easy to install and well worth the money. Didn't have one until I saw a 350 pound guy fall out of his boat. He fought for 10 minutes trying to get in. Another fellow and I helped get him his boat. That's when I decided I needed one.

I can still get in my ride pretty easy but in shock from a spill or in cold water would be another story. Not a bad idea to have one

Glad to see u made it in ok,,, just remember that prop will cut u open like a butcher knife if u slip wrong,,,,,, a ladder is the best idea if u fish alone often,,, jmo

Minner, I've had some experience with rope ladders and if you're not in good shape they can be very difficult at best. Go with the one the JADA has on his boat.
