Default Used car dealers: What a joke.

I'm in the market fer a Tacoma 4wd fer my oldest son. So I find one on a lot in Columbus. Well I drive the truck and it runs out very good. Had a tinge of cigarette smell, but nuthin major. Overall a clean truck. Well we get down to the negotiation part and we trade punches back and forth til I'm tired of haggling. I ask em what's your final offer? Well they say, let's say $18000 In my final offer I say $17750. They say cant do it. Well I'm pissed now over $250, so I leave.
I didn't get hardly out if sight if their lot and they call and make a counter offer of $17775. I really got whizzed then. Them bass terds wouldn't budge over $25. I became a matter of principles then. I tolt em I'd have to sleep on it.
Well adder sleepin on it I decided to buy it. So I waited til bout 9 ish on Saturday mornin to call em, hopin they would see their ignorance and call me. But they didn't, so I called them to tell em I would take it. Well they were cleaning it up when I called. Some jackleg had done bought it.

So if y'all know where I can find a good condition Tacoma, feel free to tell me. What you want fer yours Wb?

Hate you lost the truck but there are others to be found. The last car I bought I got ahold of a REAL salesman...passing notes across the desk and all. I wasnt really expecting to buy the car, although we did like it. I laft him an offer to think about. By the time I got home the phone rang and it was the manager of the lot (same salesman) and he counter offered. I told him I left hime my final offer. He wanted to "talk" some more so I just interupted him saying if he gets his paperwork right I'll come get the car and then hung up on him. HA!:D:D He called back 30 minutes later and asked me if I'd pay the $25 to retitle it. I just laughed and hung up again. he he he...he called back telling me I was a hard person to deal with...and agreed to my price.

Who buys their teen an 18K first vehicle? Safety cordinatin must be booming. That boy needs to start off shiftin gears!

Mine has a few dings in it from random oops' by my pops. One he was driving back and forth in the yard trying to run over a mole, but ran over a tree. The other he was parked down a hill, so when he got off the lawn mower up the hill, gravity had it's own plan. Been driving that John Deer without a hood for 10 years now
