Cheap Line!!!

Figured I'd pass this on. I was looking for some hi-vis line on the low low, so I contacted one of our fellow CC'ers that will remain anonymous, but he is infamous for being cheap:D.

I was almost a little reluctant to purchase from this site because it did not specify "how much" line was on the spool. But I went ahead and bought some Viscious from Monks. It showed up today, and yes, it is 1500 yardsThumbs Up.

$8 + $6(shipping) = $14

ES....I have been using the Cabelas Pro-Line high vis yellow line......its about the same price....its made in Germany and it is really some good line, I like it.

Naw sat....just consider that visious line is made in BamaDoh.....so was minner so that ought to tell you something. RoflThe line that I spoke of is the best mono line I have ever used....very little memory and the color does not fade out like on some of the other high vis mono does.Thumbs Up

What is so good about a line that is made overseas? I support American made products whenever possible. As fer me and Vicious both bein made in Bama, that jus goes to show ya, great things come from there.

ES, this kills my soul. But I'm rite proud of you fer supporting American made products. You just moved up my list. Don't think you passed anybody jus yet, but you gettin close to one feller fer shore.

Is there a crappie rod made in the US? Not that I know of. I don't use crank baits, so that don't affect me. Southern Pro and Mid South tubes and grubs are US products unlike Big Bite Baits. Big Bute even had the opportunity to have their product made here and they chose to go to Guatemala I think it is. This is fact and the reason I don't buy em.
I'm just sayin if there is a product that's made here, I'll give it a shot. I tried vicious bout 3 years ago and have used it ever since.
