I usually take the family camping at Guntersville during Spring Break. Gives me a chance to do a little crappie fishing, get away from work, get the kids outside, mom away from the house, and me a chance to enjoy an adult beverage near a campfire.

I'm the cook ( mom's on vacation, remember ), we have a tent and a dog ( cheseapeake retriever - named Bubba, but when fishin called Crapper ).

Ima thinkin of going elsewhere this spring break. Actually thinkin of goin to Mississippi. Do any of the fine lakes over in Miss have decent campgrounds with boat launches close by? And would any of you fine Mississippians have any advice for a neighbor on which lakes to chose for this upcoming spring break. It'll be in mid-March.
