Well....as many boat motors that I have seen ruined by oil pump failures....I think folks are takeing a lot for granted using them. Mix the oil in the gas yourself and you know what you got. Just saying.....we did it for years before they came out with the automatic oil pumps.
Can you just unhook the lines on the pump and block them off or do you have to take the pump off and bolt on a block off plate?
There are some electrics that have to be disconnected. Cut off the oil line leaving enough to plug going into the motor. 'Least that is what was done to my old VRO pump. They are probably ALOT different now on newer stuff though.:o
Well then.... Being I am a man of massive intelligence, I will just unhook that
sucker the first warm day we have, and be rid of all that high tech wanting to fail stuff.
