Glad you got it going Don.....Most of the time I used laquer paints with mine , but even when I used water based paints after initial clean up with water, I still ran laquer thinner threw the air brush for final cleaning...the laquer thinner works good when you tear the brush down for major cleaning also. Just do not put any plastic or rubber parts in the laquer thinner to soak....it will eat them up. You can get a gallon of laquer thinner at most any auto parts store....it comes in two grades good, and cheap....I used the cheaper one.

So, if all of you gewbers think that "the brighter the bait, the better", why tape the bills? Seems to me like more real estate to paint

sounds logical, the Worden's fatfish have painted and not painted bills, so why not, ahhhhh go ahead and "do it" DD Scott has painted some complete with bills painted, I have not tried that yet. Bn working on the chinese stuff I have and building my 200's collection, since the chinese have what looks to be the same size bill and the bandit 200

It's a pain in the butt to paint the bills is one reason I don't do em all that way. It's handy to have the taped up bill to hold onto with your forceps. Plus I know for a fact that they like the 300's without the bills painted so why screw with success? LOL

Painting the bills also makes the bait look a lot larger to the fish.....so you migh have smaller crappie not as interested in it.....or at times it may even spook larger crappie......just thinking out loud here.
