No problem with Slab on that maachuu
ok Wilbur just posted guess # 10 and the winner is ??????????????? well guys, #1 is a........................................... chinese knockoff #2 is a .................................... I dont know, found it in my tackle box :) #3 is a .................................................. .. chinese knockoff #4 is a .................................................. .. chinese knockoff !!!!! a little paint can be decieving. this is what looks to be the same size as a 200 series bandit that Scott found on ebay and we ordered up a few. Dont know how they will work or if they will run anywhere near right or if they can be tuned. of the guys that answered, how many of you fish crankbaits regularly ?? last summer was my first attempt and I got hooked. Just want to paint some of the most productive colors
thanks for taking time to participate in this little pole, was mainly to see if I was wasting paint on these or if maybe they might fool a crappie, thanks again guys
maachuu aka Larry
That was fun Larry now if DonDon would just post some pics of the cranks he is painting.
How many of you voters would fish these baits with confidence ??
Try them out....they may run all right and if not you might could tune them by bending the eye. If you can get them to run they should catch fish.
I pull cranks a lot, to answer your question. Now, I'd fish those black/blue combos with confidence.
I think they pulled cranks at that last MCC tourney with some success. I was looking for the eye bump on the 200's. That and the hook eyes is the only way I can tell them apart after I paint them. I've used a couple of these Chinese cranks and they run just like a 200. Good job on the painting Larry. I wasn't gonna guess though, I was scared I'd win that fishing trip.
You know the Bandits are being made in China now...... so those knockoffs could be....just saying, ya never know
