you got just about all the chain hotels pretty close by. Do a google search in flowood, ms for hotels and that should get you started. I also work in that area and I will look around on tuesday when I go back to work.

The ONLY motel around Barnett with boat hookups is Sleep Inn on Lakeland drive. It's also the safest around. There's several good resturants within walking distance. Be sure to go to Mug Shots for a burger. If the wife comes, Dogwood Shopping is real close.

These are all within a mile of each other and are all pretty new. I would say they have only been there about a year. Some not even a year. Dogwood Mall is less than one mile away and plenty of places to eat. I doubt they have boat hook ups but it is a nice area. I wouldn't think you would have any trouble with stuff being stolen around there.
