G, it is 11.5" from where it mounts on the boat to where the 998 bracket mounts. Which one did you get?

I got the 898c SI......I have not bought the Ram mount yet....I did look at one of the large diameter ones but it was pretty short.

I wanted mine up at eye level to see while running the big motor and sitting in the back pulling cranks with the TM. You can also turn it around if you're up front spider rigging or jigging.

they make a short and long one

believe the short one is a ram-d-111u-c and the long is the ram-d-111-u
