Jim McKay passing

Jim McKay of Brandon, MS passed away in his last night. The family found him not breathing in bed this morning. Many of you might not have known Jim but if you ever met him, you would never forget him. For many years, Jim was an excellent bass fisherman traveling all over the country fishing BASS tournaments with the early pros. I first met Jim in 1992 when he started fishing crappie tournaments with Dean Horn. These 2 ex bass fishermen could catch crappie with the best of them. Jim will be missed by all that knew him. Mr. McKay was a fine fisherman for sure and a super nice fella as well. He always took the time to speak to me and my partner back when he was fishing bass tournaments against us. I always knew if we had more weight than him and his son then we had a good shot at a check cause they were usually in the money. Rest in peace Mr. McKay and may God be with your family as they grieve.
