Dad went down there yesterday to watch them break the levee and take a few pictures and watched them sink a dozer when it slide off the levee into what is remaining of the lake.

That was one of the top bream lakes in the state......big bluegills and even bigger red ears, had some nice crappie too....it will be a long time after they get though with the project before it ever gets back like it was. I sure do hate it because its only about 15 miles from me and I fished it a lot.

I grew up fishing that lake. Lamar Bruce arrested my daddy for spotlighting rabbits on the Natchez Trace(dirt road) 56 years ago. I remember it like it was last night.

I fished it as a kid growing up and it had the best bream fishing I have ever saw. It also had some super night time catfishing..
