My Dad.

WB you have my sympathy. I lost mine 12yr ago and still think of him. I believe he is still looking after me. PRAYERS are going out from my family to you and yours.

Chris, so sorry to hear of your dad's passing. Life throws you a curve sometimes when you least expect it. Just keep your weight back and take it to right.

This is a sad, but awesome opportunity, Pard. Just like the bond you and your dad shared as you went through life's experiences together with him, so you get to form yet another, even tighter bond with the Bee's. Pull those youngins in close and let them share your feelings. Help show them the way to accept life as God's way, even though it doesn't seem fair. I truly have tears in my eyes and a total feeling of disbelief as I attempt to type this.

We just walked in the door from burying my brother, quite unexpedted. We were in absolute shock when we read of your father's passing. We really were praying for his quick recovery. Sometimes God chooses a different path than we of finite minds would like. We send our deepest heartfelt sympathy to you and the family. My condolences Wannabe, I lost my Dad 6 yrs ago. He was a fisherman and taught me alot. I think about him everyday and enjoyed our time together. Remember the good times.

Sorry to here of the loss of your Dad, WB. That is a great picture of your Dad. Wish we had more of my dad, who was a Crappie fisherman all his life. Only have two Pic's of him holding a stringer full. Hope this helps.....My dad (Bernie) died on July 4, 1983. Was for sure a sad day....but now has become a Blessing. He loved getting the family together to eat fish and fried pies. Both were his specialties. Now July 4th is more than shooting fireworks.....It's a Special day when we can all get together and remember all the good times. I doubt that it would happen had it not been for that special day. Hoping that this Special holiday will be a blessing for you and your family to get together and remember all the good times also.

Just a quick note to say thank you all for the kind words. I've been reading them when I get a minute or two and have read them several times now. They are encouraging and I appreciate them so very much.

We are gathering up to go over to his house today and start going through everything. That's going to be a tough task and delicate with all the family. The center of the family is of pretty much one accord, but the outer bands can monkey things up. Could use some more prayers there. Doubt there will be any real squabbling, but wouldn't want any feelings to get hurt. Those kinds of wounds run deep.

When my Grandma died it was a free for all. Lots of fighting. Greedy folks coming out of the woodwork. I don't wish that on anyone!

WB....just wanted to add this.....Dont know about others but when I start thinking about it in my family this kinda brings some peace and back to some reality too... He's always there no matter what.....
