Thanks fellas.... I was thinking there were catfish at first... but think DD is right. Too many to be largemouth so I think stripers. I haven't been back to that spot but might hit it tomorrow with a rattle trap or spoon to see if I can confirm that it is stripers.
Thanks for the help Crappiehunter. The screen scrolling speed is KEY to good picture quality. The screen speed needs to be the same MPH or a little less to get the high quality. I also have my sonar on the 800 mhz not the 455. The sensitivity is on 8, contrast 10, and sharpness on low.

Dude, you're wanting to catch CRAPPIE so you got to listen to us and get the heck away from the middle of the lake. Yeh, Fannin and twin harbour counts in that LOL
I just want somebody to show me how to use mine. I guess I have an expensive depthfinder cause I show ain't figured out how find fish on the sidescan.
I can give ya a few hints bud on what to look for. It sure is different when your on the lake looking at the screen vs looking at pics on the computer
Well after fishing 43 bridge yesterday till noon... I ran up to the bay and tried to fish for these fish. I threw a spoon, rattle trap, and jig. I noticed alot of gar rolling in this area and in this area only. So... I believe it is a big group of gar. I didn't catch anything while I was there either.

Be glad you didn't have to fool with those gar.
