According to the NERAF book, that armoire is worth $27,140 in excellent shape if it has cherry bracing. But never mind that....

I found two of the desks online, one was $575, the other $845.

If you wanted a true estimate, you should have stood next to each piece; that way their age could have been compared to yours and VIOLA accurate estimate.
