    Major, they are about the only fish that is as good to eat (some people say better eating) than crappie!!! They like cold water and as Creek said, they are toothy!!! They also have a sharp gill plate!

    I've heard the same thing Speck. My old tounament partner was from ILL. and he loved to fish for them. Pulled cranks for them. I caught several by mistake on KY Lake a few years back.

    I catch several every year fishing Greers while crappie fishing, ask Yikess if they are good.
