Thread: Apparently, that one fish thing

I believe I would have a hard time putting a knife to that slab.

It'd be on my wall. The first 3 pounder I catch is getting mounted. Got a 2.8 so far but that ain;t 3

I would have had to have cut him loose. Not telling anyone else what to do with their fish but I like the feeling of releasing those sure enough slabs.

Here's da pics as promised.

Had to chop the feelays down into 6 pieces. That sucker was just about as thick as the 2 liter coke bottle. My ruler numbers are rubbed off, but I put it right at 16.5", which by my estimation would make that fish not quite fully mature yet....WOW!

And it didn't have much roe at all, but did have a couple of good shad in it's belly.
