You didn't go through the shut to Albermerle? You were fishing the north end of Chotard. Next time, go to the left and fish towards Laney's. If the water is high enough to get across the road, go to Tennessee.

Heard they raised that old road a couple foot last year. Bet it's really got to be on up there to get in. I've never been on chotard when the water was up enough. I do love Albermarle though
didn't haave to get in the ditch and go to albermerle. Yes fished the noth part of Chotard. I wasn't set up for trolling. Only had 4 jig poles and held 2 and had 2 laying across the boat. Left home to jig fish the eagle tournament but that went South big time. Left Eagle and drove about 8 miles and caugh 19 and lost about 6 or 7. Talked to several that were comming out of chotard when i was launching and they said that albermerle was very slow and to fish Chotard and i did.
Hey Don how come all these guys are saying the fish weren't biting at Eagle. I thought they bit pretty good what about you?
I was complaining about them not biting until i talked to 6 or 8 boats as they came by LOL Just so very glad they hadn't moved on me from 2 weeks ago. Then again, the biggest one I had this weekend was about the smallest from 2 weeks ago
