Hmmmm.....Bandits use size #6 front and back, but between different mfgs, one 6 is different from another. Unless the difference is huge, I bet it'd be OK. EC Lazer Sharps use an allow that is lighter than other hooks...say Mustad tripple grips. You can feel the difference in your hand. Doubt weight difference will matter at all, but water resistance might if they are a lot bigger. Too big a hook can retard the action or cause it to run untrue or even roll at speed. Only one way to really find out though.

A lot like the old Wannabe... except with fewer bad words. And Karate chop action. But, yes, still purtier than you.

I've used the Eagle Claw and the Mustad red trebles on my Bandits and they do good.

Thanks Scott, just was wandering if the sz6 would be to large, as it is bigger than the other ones I have on the bandits, which I believe are sz4

    thanks

I know that the Eagle Claw and Mustad #6 is the same size as what comes on the Bandits. On the Wally Marshall cranks, they use #4's. I replace the front hooks on them with #6's to keep the hooks from hooking together.

Thanks ScottV, I believe I had bought sz4 my last batch, but looks like I can use the 6's ok, worse case, I can swap out some of the 4's I already have on some bandits to mix it up to where I have a 4 and a 6 on the bait

    thanks

Some time back, I was replacing some hooks on Bandits of differing age and Bandit's factory hooks were all different sized (slightly). Anyway, I posted a pic showing the differences between the hooks. I'd give it a shot and see if you have any issues with the larger hooks. I'm betting you won't.

And on that deal I PM'd you about......the answer was "no".....and some other words too. LOL.

On all my bandits I have a smaller hook up front and the larger on the rear. As long as the don't hook each other you'll be OK.
