This would up a mess. Got the first one in the net and another rod goes down like WHAM, couldn't let it go so had two in the net from two different rods, each with double hooks. I'll let you guess how long it took to get that mess straightened out.
Oh yea, bout to forget, while I was getting all my rods out, prior to fishing, I decided to make a sacrifice to the weather gods for good fishing weather. I figured that a new BnM 10' Pro Troller with a Okuma 15DX, filled with 10lb hivis yellow would suffice. NOT!!! Seems the wicked witch of the southeast wanted my new 16' PST with the 20DX instead, hence the horrible winds at about 10:00.

that's for sure. We got that big fish 1.96 lbs within about the first 30 minutes. bad thing was about 15 minutes later, I couldn't get below 2.6 MPH pulling cranks and when I looked back. POOF, 2 or my buckets had ripped off. Guess sitting out in the yard next to the fence, they dry rotted and broke:mad::mad::mad: It sure was great to see Everyone again. The quote of the day went to our weigh master though. He walked up and asked me this. "Do ya'll have this much fun every time ya'll get together?" Simple response. "Every time Larry, Every time." Well I had a great time!! Glad everyone like the buffalo chicken dip. I'll make sure I bring some to all future gatherings. It is really easy to make. Had several ask for the recipe so I will try to post later on. Great seeing everyone as always and meeting some new people as well!! Already looking forward to the next get together!!
Man I had a great time at the mini camp! Thanks to everyone that helped get it together and make it a success. The food, fishing, and fellowship could not have been any better. Glad to finally put some faces with some names. I talked to several of you before online and never got to meet you in person. Now I know who I have been talking to all this time. I have a lot of fun and hope to do it again soon. Also learned a few new things... Hopefully it will help me catch some more fish. Thanks again for such a great time!

yea thanks! I have already had it Saturday night and all day yesterday too. April made a JUMBO batch as soon as we got home from the cookout.
